adesso insurance solutions GmbH has acquired a majority stake in the pension strategy consulting firm RIES Corporate Solutions GmbH. As a specialist for benefit administration software, adesso has thus further expanded its own range of services in the field of occupational benefits (occupational pension schemes, working time accounts and partial retirement) and has integrated legal, strategic, business management and actuarial consulting, as well as insolvency protection and administration, into its portfolio.
In addition to the founder and managing director, Michael Ries, Dr. Michael Höhnerbach, managing director at adesso insurance solutions, has also become a managing director of the company. To reflect its affiliation to one of the largest German IT groups, the company's name has been changed from RIES Corporate Solutions to adesso benefit solutions. Furthermore, the existing REIS Contractual Trust Arrangement (CTA) has been renamed adesso partner trust GmbH. This trust acts as an instrument for insolvency protection and balance sheet optimization
adesso benefit solutions thus covers the entire occupational pension scheme value chain and can offer complete solutions from a single source. The division, which currently has about 55 employees, will be further expanded.
Administrative IT excellence and 360° consulting
The CEO of adesso SE, Michael Kenfenheuer points out: "In our view, the pension market, especially the digital management of pension obligations, represents a promising topic for the future." Dr. Michael Höhnerbach adds: "The merger of an IT company with a consulting firm is a perfect fit. in|sure CollPhir will be developed towards a digital platform
The in|sure CollPhir software is being developed into an end-to-end digital pension and benefits platform (a pension share point) specifically for German SMEs. The services are aimed not only at companies, but also at providers of products, such as asset managers. adesso benefit solutions offers all necessary services as a service so that our product partner's core competence is applied in the most effective way possible.
