The adesso Group company adesso insurance solutions GmbH is finalizing a complete takeover of FABIS Sales Solutions GmbH & Co. KG from Bamberg and in so doing is expanding its own product portfolio to include standard modules for sales management and commission settlement. The purchase agreement was signed in Dortmund. The agreed purchase price for the company, which has been in the commission settlement business for around 30 years, was EUR 1.5 million in cash. The payment will be made from the liquid assets of adesso insurance solutions GmbH. FABIS will be fully merged into adesso insurance solutions GmbH in the near future. The former managing partner of FABIS will now be responsible for continuing product management in the sector at adesso insurance solutions and developing it further within the adesso Group.
The transaction will expand adesso insurance solutions GmbH’s own in|sure product family by adding tried and tested components and the subject-matter expertise that comes with them. TheFABIS commission settlement software is capable of presenting and managing all conventional commission models. It is possible to map even complex sales structures in the system, so that the applications are not restricted to the insurance and financial services sectors. This means businesses like Messe Frankfurt, WeberHaus, Aldiana, or EWE TEL, for example, can also use FABIS products. In cooperation with the company, which is now part of the adesso Group, adesso insurance solutions GmbH was also able to attract Swiss Life Deutschland, a market leading provider of financial and provision solutions and part of the Swiss Life Group asa customer.
The FABIS components complete the in|sure range by adding key professional sales and settlement functions, enabling insurance companies to update their insurance processes more rapidly based on proven standards. This has increased the competitive value of the in|sure product family. For their part, the FABIS experts will benefit from a wide-ranging customer database within the adesso Group as well as further opportunities to develop the modules and the accompanying consultancy services in the fast-growing company, adesso insurance solutions.
